Services:

New Patient

After a full evaluation of your child’s developmental, emotional, and dental status, and a thorough discussion about any concerns parents have, we will provide a clear plan to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth, mind, and body.  Our ultimate goal is that every patient and family leaves happy and looks forward to their next visit!

Check-up

Generally recommended every 6 months, this includes a cleaning and full examination including x-rays if needed.  We love to watch our patients grow and always look forward to these return visits!

Digital X-rays

Using the latest technology, digital x-rays reduce radiation exposure and are kind to the environment by eliminating the need for processing chemicals.  They also provide the best diagnostic quality possible, making for and exceptionally high standard of care.

Disclaimer:  While some outside the medical community feel there are significant health risks of being exposed to radiation in dentistry, we do not believe this to be true.  This is a very thoroughly researched and established diagnostic practice in dentistry.  Our professional obligation is to fully evaluate each patient to the best of our ability and provide them with an expected standard of care as guided by our profession (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, etc).  We are not able to fully evaluate your child’s oral health condition without this very important diagnostic tool.  A request not to use x-rays as a diagnostic aid by anyone other than a trained health care professional treating patients in our office puts our practice and the health of our patients at risk.  We reserve the right as trained health care professionals to determine the need to prescribe diagnostic x-rays for each patient.  We also reserve the right to terminate the patient-provider relationship upon refusal of this diagnostic service by a caregiver.  We are happy to provide information about the reason they are necessary and the facts about the safety of dental x-ray radiation exposure to any parent that has questions or concerns.  We only want what is best for each patient, but we have an obligation to provide a professionally-recognized and mandated standard of care.  If you are in disagreement with this, we ask you seek an alternate provider to care for you child/children.

Emergency

If your child experiences any dental emergency, we want to know about it ASAP so we can evaluate the situation and determine the best path of action.  There are several ways to get help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  During office hours, our team is well trained and experienced in assessing the situation and providing assistance accordingly.  After hours, there are 2 numbers to call for help.  Dr. Hull’s emergency pager number is (425) 243-3113.  Please don’t hesitate to call.  He will do his best to return your call within the hour, but if you need more immediate assistance or care, please first CALL Seattle Children’s Hospital Operator and ask to be connected to the dentist on-call.  Nearly all dental emergencies do not require immediate care, and having a discussion with Dr. Hull or Children’s Hospital is very likely to save you a trip to the emergency room or urgent care center.  We want the very best for your child, so please don’t hesitate to call!

Consultation

It is very common to want a second opinion, or be referred by a family/general dentist regarding your child’s dental conditions.  We are happy to provide that service for you.  This is usually a limited evaluation allowing parents to make the best choices for their children’s health and well being.  We will thoroughly evaluate the situation and determine the appropriate care required.
